A welcome return to league action after a 3 month break saw Bucks collect a valuable 3 points on their travels..
On a bumpy and soggy pitch, Billy Snell, Aidan Coe and Jack Wylie all had shots well saved before Jack Leaman scored the opener from a trademark James Lofty corner- inevitably headed on by Laurie Dove for a simple tap in.
James came close to adding a 2nd and Jack Wylie missed a glorious chance, but it was Jed Penberthy who added to our lead with a stunner. Coyote cleared the ball from a Totnes corner, Billy and Aidan showed a nice interchange before James fed Jed who chipped the keeper from 25 yards. Defence to attack in 15 seconds!
However, some weak defending allowed the home side to get a goal back before the break.
Coyote had an excellent chance straight from kick off in the second half, being put clean through on goal, but uncharacteristically, sliced his shot wide.
Bucks’ 3rd was another stunner. A Leamo clearance from defence was well controlled by Aidan who passed in on to Jed. Jed’s excellent ball found James just outside the box who smashed an unstoppable effort flying into the top corner.
Alex Woodroffe, Zak Kingwell and Jordan Pidwell all created several opportunities to add to the score but found the home keeper in good form. Jordan especially looked very lively up front making some excellent runs.
James had the ball in the net again after a neat one-two with Alex, but the effort was ruled out for off-side. Jordan completed the scoring with a well deserved, well taken one on one finish having been put through by a James header.
