For once we got of to a quick start, within 5 mins a long kick from Rory was chased down by Alex and Olly. Alex won the race poking the ball pass the advancing keeper.

On a hard bumpy pitch both teams struggled to get the upper hand. Rory made a superb double save to keep us in the lead and the defensive four of Zak, Laurie, Rhys and Jack B had to be on their toes against a lively Galmpton attack.

The 2nd goal came towards the end of the 1st half, a throw in from the left was moved on by Jack W to Olly who confidently slotted in the net.

Just before half time failure to clear a corner resulted in a goal for Galmpton to give them some hope in the 2nd half.

A forceful team talk from Martin at half time resulted in the whole team stepping up a gear in the 2nd half, with the mid field now dominating the game. In quick succession some midfield interplay resulted in Billy swinging the ball out to the left wing for Jack W to beat a defender and calmly forcing the ball in to the net.

Next it was the turn of Tyler to find Olly with an accurate pass who forced his way pass defenders to hammer the ball home.

4-1 and now the striking pair of Alex and Olly exchanged passes to put Alex through to join the goal scoring.

Then it was the turn of James on the right to test the keeper cutting in beating two defenders only to see his goal bound shot superbly saved by the Galmpton keeper.

The final goal came via the left boot of Jack W crossing for Olly to muscle his way pass defenders to complete a well deserved hat trick.

We only had the bare 11 players for this game who all played there part in this excellent win!
